I don't post for almost a year but now....

Here are 17 posts!  Woo hoo!  I'm still almost a year behind. Yep a year. But I'll eventually get caught up.  They are all out of order and with the wrong dates (I have no clue why) and maybe one day I'll get around to putting them in the order they belong but for now I'm just proud of myself for posting them!

I loaded all the pictures to these posts ages ago and my pictures weren't working so I stopped.  Some of them still aren't showing up and I don't know why but oh well.  I'll figure it out some day.

I hope to get caught up and stay somewhat caught up.  I helped my sis-in-law that's moving to Australia (boo!) set up a blog and it really made me wish I kept up on my own.  I want to remember what all these pictures I have are about and who are in them and the story behind them so hopefully I'll be able to do it.  Wish me luck.

P.S.  The only way I knew I could get caught up blogging is if I stopped caring about spelling, punctuation, recording beautiful, perfect family history, etc, etc, etc.  So, I have just slapped some captions on the pictures I loaded months ago and called it good!  So if you are one that can't stand the sight of typos look away cause they're everywhere on this ol' blog.

Greenwich Hunt 2011 Part 1

Each year the Bagley family goes deer/elk hunting in Greenwich, UT the place where Matt's Dad grew up.  They still own the family farm there with the house that Matt's Dad grew up in.   Here's McKinley sitting on top of one of Great Grandpa Bagley's old trucks that is sitting on the farm.

Matt's cousin Carson's little girl and McKinley.  McKinley and her were born only two days apart and at the same hospital.

She sure liked this little dog.  Too bad her parents aren't "animal lovers" and she may never get one herself.

There is a little creek a ways up the mountain.

It certainly is pretty up there in the fall.

We love to go four wheeling when we visit.  McKinley loved it too!
And on this ride it put her right to sleep!

Greenwich Part 2

This is the house that Matt's dad grew up in until he was about 12.  It sits on the property just across from the other house.  It's like something straight out of little house on the prairie.  It's just one big room.  Makes me feel a bit spoiled that's for sure.

And here is the house they built when his Dad was 12.

Here is where Matt's Dad went to school until high school.  It's also a one room school house.

It's sure a fun place to visit!

Playing at the Lake

Cedar City got a man-made lake! Wahoo!

We sure love it.

Well most of the time we do.

McKinley's 2nd Birthday

We sure love this birthday girl of ours!

She sure got spoiled!

mmmm..cupcake!

and I think I'll take another one of those.

Lucky girl got 2 parties!

Her cake.  Delicious frosting, terrible cake!  No really, I just scraped off the frosting and ate it.  It's Strawberry Swiss Meringue buttercream frosting.  Recipe found here.

Singing to the birthday girl!

Cake pops!  These were delicious!  I've never made them before but will certainly be making them again.  I made it with chocolate cake, chocolate frosting and dipped them in melted mint chocolate.  Can you tell I like chocolate?

And so does McKinley!

Do you're zucchinis always end up like this too?

I never remember to pick these things often enough so they always end up like this... HUGE!

Once there was a Snowman...

Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman!

The snowman only lasted until Matt's cub scouts came & chopped him down that night.  Oh well!  Boys will be boys!

McKinley is very diligent about taking her baby for a walk even in frigid temperatures!  Random fun side note.  My mom's brother's girlfriend (follow that?) made that hat for my mom back when she was a teenager.  Isn't it cute!  It makes me laugh that it fits my 2 year old perfectly when it fit my mom as a teenager.  What can I say?  We make heads big around here!

The Zoo

Headed to Hogle Zoo with Uncle Brycen.

Brycen had to protect her from all of those scary dinosaurs!

This is what McKinley did each time one of them roARRRRED!

Me and McKinley.

Shannon, Izzy, Wyatt & Lawson.

McKinley's Little House

Matt built McKinley a house just her size!
Peek...

a-boo!

We even got to color all over it!

Good thing he's a realtor.  He made this for her for dirt cheap! ;0)  It's actually been almost a year since he built this and McKinley has looooved it.  She and her cousin Chevelle usually pretend it's their dog house.  It finally saw enough abuse and got thrown away last week!  It makes me wonder why we ever spend any money on toys.

Snowbird

Every year the Naisbitt family has a reunion up at Snowbird Resort.  There is lots of swimming...

riding the tram...

Enjoying the pretty views,

and even some wildlife.  Fun! Fun! Fun!
